Cancellation & Refund Policy
LifeCare Scan and Research Centre

At LifeCare Scan and Research Centre, we strive to ensure a seamless and transparent experience for all our patients. Due to the nature of medical diagnostic services, cancellations and refunds are subject to the following policy.
1. Appointment Cancellations
Appointments for tests or health check-ups can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time without any charges.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued, but rescheduling may be allowed at our discretion.
For home sample collection, cancellations must be informed at least 12 hours in advance to avoid logistic wastage.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
Duplicate payment made by mistake
Test cancelled before sample collection or technician dispatch
Service not provided due to LifeCare’s internal issues (equipment malfunction, staff unavailability, etc.)
Patient unfit for test and advised by a LifeCare medical professional not to proceed
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:
Once a test has been performed or the sample has been collected and processed
If the patient fails to appear for the test or is unavailable during the home collection window
If incorrect or incomplete information is provided by the patient
For delays caused by unavoidable circumstances (power failure, natural disaster, etc.)
4. Mode of Refund
Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment (bank account, UPI, card, etc.).
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of approval.
5. Cancellation by LifeCare
LifeCare Scan and Research Centre reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any test or appointment in the event of technical or operational issues. In such cases, a full refund will be issued or rescheduling will be offered at no additional cost.
